**Recommended models** are tested and optimized for Automat Studio workflows. They consistently deliver the best results for narrative filmmaking with reliable quality, faster processing times, and better integration with our platform.

### Supported Models

**Supported models** are available for use but may vary in quality, consistency, or processing speed. They can be useful for:

* Specific artistic styles or experimental workflows
* Testing different approaches to generation
* Cost optimization for certain use cases

You can enable "show models" in Automat Studio to see and select from all available models for each workflow.

## Understanding Model Costs

Each model uses **credits** based on:

* Generation complexity
* Output resolution and quality
* Processing time required
* Provider pricing

For video models, credits also scale with the clip **duration** and whether **audio** is generated, so those pages show a credit range rather than a single figure.

Check individual model pages for specific credit costs. You can monitor your credit usage in your account dashboard.
