# Getting Help

> How to reach the Automat Studio team — in-app chat, email, or the contact form

There are three ways to reach us, and they all arrive in the same place. Pick whichever is easiest — you will not get a faster answer by using more than one.

***

## In the app

Click the **speech-bubble icon** in the left-hand menu to open the support chat.

This is the best option if you already have an account. Because you are signed in, your plan and credit balance come through with the message, so you do not have to explain your setup before we can look at the problem.

## Email

Write to **[support@automatstudio.com](mailto:support@automatstudio.com)**.

Replies come from that same address, so you can keep the conversation in your inbox. If you reply to any email we send you — a welcome note, a receipt, a follow-up — it lands in the same place.

## Contact form

Use **Contact Us** in the website footer if you are not signed in, or do not have an account yet.

Give us an email address you actually read: it is the only way we can reply.

***

## What to include

You will get a useful answer faster if your first message covers:

* **What you were trying to do**, and what happened instead
* **Which project, scene or shot** it involves, by name
* **Which model** you were generating with, if it is a generation problem
* **When it happened**, roughly — it helps us find the right logs

Screenshots are welcome. If a generation failed, the shot name is usually enough for us to find it.

## When to expect a reply

We are a small team and we read every message ourselves. Most questions get an answer within two business days.

If your message is about **billing** — a charge you did not expect, a plan change that did not take effect, credits that seem wrong — say so in the first line. Those get looked at first, because they are usually time-sensitive.

## Try these first

Many questions have a written answer already, and it is faster than waiting for us:
