Image-to-Video models transform static images into animated video clips. In Automat Studio, these models power the “Generate Video” workflow in Shot Studio, bringing your first frames to life with realistic motion, camera movements, and temporal consistency.
These models are used to generate videos from first frame images in the Generate Video tab of Shot Studio.
Video credits scale with clip duration and whether audio is generated. The figures below show the range across supported durations; the “(with audio)” figure applies when audio generation is enabled.

When to Use

  • Shot Animation — Animate your approved first frame into a complete shot
  • Motion Generation — Add camera movement, character motion, and environmental dynamics
  • Narrative Progression — Create temporal continuity between static frames
  • Shot Completion — Transform still compositions into dynamic cinematic moments

Tips for Best Results

  1. Start with Strong First Frame — A clear, well-composed first frame yields better motion
  2. Adjust Motion Settings — Experiment with motion strength and camera path before generating
  3. Be Patient — Video generation typically takes 2-3 minutes; you can work on other shots meanwhile
  4. Try Multiple Attempts — Each generation is unique; regenerate if motion isn’t right
  5. Review and Iterate — Watch the result, adjust settings, and regenerate until satisfied
⚠️ Processing Time: Video generation is computationally intensive. Most models take 1-4 minutes. You can navigate away from the page while rendering—Automat processes in the background.
